It is located in a typical residential street in the quiet urbanization Son Serra de Marina near the pretty town of Colonia Sant Pere and the beach of S'Arenal de Sa Canova.You can - if you like - leave your car here safely: Supermarket, restaurants and beach are within easy walking distance.

In the outdoor area next to the sea-facing house invites a small pool for swimming. It is nestled between the noble wooden terrace and the pretty Senngarten with its Mediterranean plants. On the loungers ready for you, you can bask in the small but fine garden to your heart's content in the Mediterranean sun, with a view of the glittering in the sun, with the here as nowhere else very special radiant light and with its magical atmosphere.

Under the pergola is a teak table with seating for six people ready for you.Do not miss to prepare fresh Mallorcan delicacies on the Webergrill and enjoy them with a glass of delicious wine and atmospheric lighting. A wooden staircase illuminated at night leads from the pool terrace up to the kitchen and you also have access to the covered terrace directly at the house. There are the cozy and modern lounge furniture between two white columns. Here you can enjoy the day in the morning at sunrise with a solid breakfast and unique views of the sea and the mountains. In the garden is conveniently also a shower, under which you can wash off the sand from the beach and the salt water. Your rental car is best parked in the hidden parking lot directly on the property.

The villa has a total of a lower and upper covered terrace with sea and mountain views, which runs over two sides of the house and a small roof terrace, which faces the mountains. Depending on the time of day, you can enjoy the wonderful panoramic view or admire the starry sky at night.

The villa exudes warmth not only on the outside, but also inside the house welcomes you in a wonderfully comfortable atmosphere. Thanks to the light that penetrates through the large windows, it is light and bright everywhere. On the ground floor, the spacious living and dining area with a cuddly sofa and armchair combination seduces into cozy TV evenings, while you can feast to your heart's content on the extendable dining table next to it.In cooler temperatures, you can make it even cuddly warm with the pellet stove, which incidentally also heated two of the upper bedrooms directly and the upper floor air-conditioned. The absolute highlight is the large panoramic sliding door to the terrace, which opens up the view of the wonderful view of the terrace and the sea and floods the living / dining room. Depending on your needs, you can use the elegant daytime and nighttime jalousie to enjoy more privacy, although this is basically not necessary, as the villa is elevated and therefore not directly visible from the low-lying passing way.The also friendly and open kitchen is fully equipped with fridge-freezer, dishwasher, sink, ceramic hob, oven, extractor fan, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee filter and Nespresso machine. Conveniently, the small utility room is right next door, with washer / dryer and access to the garden and pool terrace. On this level are still a shower room and a small friendly room with a window to the utility room, which lights up like a small conservatory through its complete Fensterfron the interior. The additional room has a pull-out bed for two people and a wardrobe, it can be used as an extra bed if required. From the hallway you can reach the upper floor of the house via an open staircase and immediately find a small roof terrace with a view of the mountains and the Senngarten.From here you can enjoy the sunset behind the mountains in peace and quiet. On this upper floor are three pleasantly discreetly designed double bedrooms with comfortable beds and fitted wardrobes, all rooms facing the sea, sharing a bathroom. Two bedrooms, one with a comfortable double bed and one with two single beds, have access to the large upper covered terrace with its ornamental columns supporting arched terrace overlooking the sea. In the morning you will be gently awakened by the sound of the sea. An ideal place for families with children and nature lovers to unwind.

Son Serra de Marina is considered one of the quietest corners of the popular holiday of the Bay of Alcúdia.Here you can wonderfully relaxed follow your own rhythm, do their shopping in the nearby supermarket or enjoy Mediterranean delights in one of the restaurants also within easy walking distance. The coast is beautiful wild here. The beach and the hinterland are protected. Even in midsummer you will never find the beach overcrowded. If you want, you can do miles of hiking here. In less than 10 minutes, you can also reach the Son Real nature reserve, where you can go for a walk to your heart's content or undertake demanding hikes, taking in the almost untouched Mediterranean landscape. A worthwhile destination in the area is also the contemplative place Colònia de Sant Pere.Take a stroll through the narrow streets, have a coffee and try the tapas on the harbor promenade.

Arenal de sa Canova

The beach Arenal de sa Canova is located in the northeast of Mallorca, on the southeastern edge of the large bay of Alcúdia and stretches there for about 1.5 km. Just behind the beach is the nature reserve called Area natural Sa Canova. Along the coast, however, show some rock formations and dunes, between which repeatedly show up some pines, rosemary and thistles show.

On average, this beach is about 30 m wide and pleasantly gently sloping towards the sea and at the bottom of the sea. The water has the ideal bathing conditions, because it is usually very calm. The water Arenal de sa Canova has a very fine sand, which is interspersed with shells again and again.The beach looks truly untouched, and some, though few, appreciate the locals.

Son Serra de Marina, fine sand and beautiful dune landscape

A beach does not always have to be just for swimming - this is proven by the bay of Son Serra de Marina in the north of the island near Alcúdia.Because the beautiful dunes and the fine sand invite you to go for long walks on the beach. This can start, for example, in Son Serra de Marina and run over the approximately 1.5 km long natural beach in the direction of S'Estanyol - always overlooking the impressive mountain ranges of the Ferrutx, which rises above the town.

Son Serra de Marina - pure nature

The vast hinterland of the beach is under strict conservation - there grow rosemary, juniper, beach lilies and thistles. Many different bird species have also found a home here. For nature lovers, the bay of Son Serra de Marina is therefore a very special experience.

Visitors who prefer the cool water then or want to round off the long beach walk with a refreshment in the sea, will also have their great pleasure - and rest. Because the idyll and the harmony of the natural area fortunately continue with the bathing experience. Some say that the beach of Son Serra de Marina is one of the quietest in the Alcúdia area. There are hotels, but these are one- or two-story houses, the huge hotel complexes (still) stay out. In September, some former guests even described the area as almost extinct - the beach is quiet, even in high season.

For this reason, many families with children appreciate the bay - the water falls off flat, the fine sand is also a big plus. Nevertheless, it is also reported by higher waves, especially in the summer months. Bathing holidaymakers should therefore inform themselves beforehand once again about the bathing conditions on site, especially if children are present, or less experienced swimmers. There is no umbrellas or deckchairs available, so you should bring your own equipment if needed. A beach area a little further away is suitable for naturist bathers.

Even water sports enthusiasts can - despite quiet and sensitive natural landscape - let off steam while surfing, kiting or SUP, a corresponding rental service is available.Bathers should also consider catering when needed - a beach bar offers a small selection of snacks and drinks.

Access Son Serra de Marina

The way to Son Serra de Marina is quite simple. By car, drivers follow the highway from Port d'Alcúdia to Artà (MA-12), with a sign indicating Son Serra de Marina. In the village follow the road just under a kilometer to the beach. There is also a free parking lot.
